Chicago Choral Artist's 40th Anniversary Gala Benefit Auction: "It's a Grand Night for Singing"

Make Your Next Celebration a Themed Yoga Party!

Celebrate a special occasion or just gather your friends for a creative yoga party that will be fun, healthy, energizing and relaxing. 

Yoga instructor Cathy Beres has created and led special themed yoga classes at Namaskar Yoga, Chicago, for several years.  Choose one of her specialties, or work with her to create a party around a theme of your choosing.

• Choose your class. 
• Date/Time to be mutually agreed upon, Saturday/Sunday afternoons. 
• Host provides location within 15 miles of Evanston, IL
• Party size limited to 12 people total for adults or Mother/Daughter; 8 participants for Tweens

Ms. Beres' specialties include:

ADULTS (75 minutes each):

Basics for Beginners – A non -threatening introduction to yoga for the uninitiated or for those who might want a brush up on the foundational poses.

Baby Boomer Yoga -  Featuring music popular to this generation along with appropriate sequencing for bodies that might need a little extra time and attention.  

Everything is better with the Beatles – For true fans, yoga with an all-Beatles soundtrack.

Relax and Renew – Restorative yoga, slow and calming.  Note: props required and need to be provided by the host.  (pillows/cushions/ bolsters, blankets).

KIDS:

Mother/Daughter Yoga – Appropriate for Moms and girls ages 5-9, includes a small craft project that reinforces the theme.  This party runs 1.5 hours.

Tweens Yoga – Appropriate for girls ages 9-13. Includes learning simple breathing techniques, stretches, yoga poses and relaxation.

Original pen-and-ink drawing, framed, by Chicago artist Ken Klopack. Frame dimensions are 12"x10".
